English Named A Starter At Defensive End

English earns starting job at DE: Senior Auston English will join fellow defensive end Jeremy Beal in the starting lineup when the Sooners take on Brigham Young, defensive ends coach Chris Wilson said Thursday. English beat out sophomore Frank Alexander, who will be the third end in the rotation. Redshirt freshmen R.J. Washington and David King, who returned to practice recently from a concussion, are still competing for the No. 4 defensive end spot. (The Oklahoman)
