Sooners Add Another Texas Prospect

Oklahoma picks up verbal commitment from Franklin: Oklahoma reportedly has received its 20th verbal commitment of the 2010 recruiting class in Aaron Franklin, a linebacker from Marshall, Texas. The 6-foot-1, 206-pound Franklin told Rivals network Web site SoonerScoop.com Friday night that he chose OU over Texas, and phoned Longhorns defensive coordinator and head coach designate Will Muschamp to break the news. "He said it's all great and he is still happy for me and said I'm a good person and wished me good luck," Franklin told SoonerScoop. "He was cool about it." Rivals.com rates Franklin as a three-star prospect. (Tulsa World)
