Stoops: Bradford Will Not Play Against TU

Sam Bradford out for Tulsa game: Bob Stoops dismissed any chance Sam Bradford might return to quarterback Oklahoma against Tulsa on Saturday - a date that falls two weeks after Bradford separated his shoulder against BYU - after the Sooners' practice Wednesday. Two days after OU's 14-13 loss to the Cougars, Stoops speculated that "two to four weeks is what most of these (injuries) have been, and that's what we're looking at in his case." Tulsa orthopedic surgeon Dr. Brad Boone called Bradford's return for the TU game "probably early" after visiting with OU's medical staff at the time and confirming the two-to-four-week prognosis.
