Jones to Start Against Miami

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops announced on Thursday afternoon backup quarterback Landry Jones will start against Miami on Saturday night. It ends a week of speculation Sam Bradford, who suffered a sprained AC joint on Sept. 5, might return against Miami.

Bradford, who returned to practice in full pads this week, seeked the opinion last weekend of sports surgeon Dr. James Andrews. Stoops said Tuesday evening on his weekly radio program, quarterback Sam Bradford "looked good," although, he wouldn't commit to starting Bradford in Saturday's game.
