Stanford's Luck Unlikely to Play in Sun Bowl

Andrew Luck 'very doubtful' for Sun Bowl: Quarterback Andrew Luck didn't practice Tuesday, a day after having surgical pins removed from his right index finger. He still had a protective bandage on the finger as the team worked out in chilly weather on a high school field. It's "very doubtful" that he'll play at all in Thursday's Sun Bowl, according to Stanford offensive coordinator David Shaw. No. 2 man Tavita Pritchard will start and probably play the whole game.
