Baseball: Sooners Lose Series Opener Against Samford

Sooners lose second consecutive game:  The OU baseball team lost to Samford 4-2 in the first game of the Sooners' final series of the year. After the Bulldogs scored on in the top of the fist inning, the Sooners were able to respond in the fourth to tie it up. Samford took the lead again in the top of the fifth, but again OU answered in the bottom of the inning, tying the game at two. Samford's next two runs however, one in the sixth and another in the ninth, went unanswered and the Sooners were saddled with their second straight loss. (Oklahoma Daily)
