Second-round receiver Ryan Broyles, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during his senior season at Oklahoma, said he’s not sure if he’s going to open camp on the PUP list when practice begins Friday.
But Broyles said, “I’m going to be out there doing something” on the first day.
The NCAA all-time leader in receptions, Broyles took part in individual drills only during off-season workouts. With Calvin Johnson, Nate Burleson and Titus Young ahead of him on the depth chart, the Lions have the option of bringing Broyles along slowly. (Detroit Free Press)
