Single-Game Football Tickets on Sale at Midnight

NORMAN, Okla. -- A limited number of single-game tickets for OU home football games go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 1, the University of Oklahoma Athletics Ticket Office announced today.

OU's home opener with Florida A&M and conference games against Baylor, Kansas and Kansas State have tickets available. Games against Notre Dame and Oklahoma State have sold out.

Tickets will first be available for purchase online at SoonerSports.com at 12:01 a.m. CDT. At 8 a.m., tickets may be purchased by calling the OU Athletics Ticket Office at (405) 325-2424 or toll-free at (800) 456-GoOU. Walk-up sales at the OU Athletics Ticket Office, located on the ground level of the Asp Avenue Parking Facility immediately west of Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, also begin at 8 a.m.

Sales are anticipated to be brisk and fans are encouraged to utilize the online purchase option. The link to online purchases will be active once the sale begins.

Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability. Prices range from $55 to $82 per ticket based upon the desired game.

The Sooners kick off the 2012 season Saturday, Sept. 1, at UTEP in El Paso, Texas, and then open at home Sept. 8 against Florida A&M at 6 p.m.
