The Sooners trailed 11-0 before Aaryn Ellenberg, who entering the game as the Big 12's second-leading scorer behind Baylor's Brittney Griner, scored from 3-point range five minutes into the contest to end the drought.
Ellenberg scored seven points before leaving the game with an ankle injury early in the second period.
"I just continue to be proud and impressed with these ladies that are on my basketball team," OU Head Coach Sherri Coale said. "They move ahead unfazed. When (Ellenberg) goes down in the second half, they did not panic they just turned up the intensity."
Campbell took over in the sharpshooter's absence, hitting a career-high five 3-pointers as OU began the second half making its first five shots from beyond the arc.
"The sky is the limit for her," Coale said. "You can tell. If you have to guard her at the 3-point line because she is five of eight, then you're in trouble as a defender because she can get to the rim. She has an unbelievable first step. That really puts defenders in a quandary." (SoonerSports.com)
