Kameel Jackson won’t return to Norman with Louisiana-Monroe for the 2013 season opener.
A ULM spokesman told The Oklahoman that Jackson left the school to get his grades up at a junior college, and plans to rejoin the team in December after he graduates.
Louisiana-Monroe and Oklahoma play in both teams’ 2013 season opener August 31 on Owen Field.
As a true freshman at OU in 2011, Jackson had 12 catches for 165 yards. He started two games, recording career highs with a 3-catch, 45-yard performance against Iowa in the Insight Bowl. (The Oklahoman)
