Sam Bradford stopped by the Oak Tree National in Edmond to host a charity golf event that raised money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
The Heisman Trophy winner says he was inspired after visiting the hospital and decided to call on Oklahomans to help.
Bradford said, ” I had the opportunity to visit St. Jude’s last summer and see their campus, their facility and I was absolutely blown away. And as soon as I went there, I knew that I wanted to be able to help and we partnered up with them to organize this golf tournament and raise some money. And I just want to thank all the people that came out today, all the people who made donations online. It means a lot to me.” (KFOR TV)
