California Prospect Commits to Oklahoma

Oklahoma picked up the 13th commitment in its 2014 recruiting class Sunday with linebacker Curtis Bolton’s announcement that he’s chosen the Sooners.

Bolton is the second linebacker to commit to OU for 2014, joining Allen, Texas, prospect Tay Evans.

Bolton, a three-star prospect from Vista Murrieta (Calif.) High School, announced his commitment on Twitter.

Linebacker had become a position of concern in recruiting for Oklahoma. The Sooners signed state prospects Jordan Evans (Norman North) and Dominique Alexander (Tulsa Washington) in last year’s class, and only Eric Striker in the 2012 signing class. (The Oklahoman)
