Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said Friday that former Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson is “doubtful” for Sunday. Peterson is currently dealing with dual injuries, having issues with both his groin and foot.

He sat out Vikings practice on Tuesday and Wednesday, and was limited in practice Thursday. He said Thursday that he hoped to suit up against the Lions Sunday, but needed to see how he felt before making the decision.

Peterson said that his body is “just not responding” right now. If Peterson does not play Sunday, he ends his 2013 season with 1,266 yards and ten touchdowns on 279 carries. (SI.com)
