The Green Bay Packers announced Wednesday that rookie running back Eddie Lacy will replace Peterson in the Jan. 26 game in Honolulu.
Peterson missed two of Minnesota's final three games in 2013 because of a sprained right foot and a groin strain. He finished the season with 1,266 yards, one year after rushing for 2,097 yards in 2012, the second most in NFL history. (Pioneer Press)
