Texas Prospect Verbally Commits to Oklahoma

Oklahoma picked up its fifth commitment for the 2015 class Friday when Dallas South Oak Cliff cornerback Jamile Johnson committed to the Sooners.

Johnson (6-foot-1, 190 pounds) had offers from Arkansas, Colorado State, Louisiana Tech, Nebraska, Texas Tech and Washington State.

He is ranked as the No. 31 cornerback in the country by Rivals.com, which first reported the commitment.

Johnson picked up the offer from OU in early October during a visit to Norman. (The Oklahoman)
