The Sooners don’t sell alcohol at their home games, and OU athletic director Joe Castiglione told the Austin American-Statesman they have no plans to engage in talks to do so.

Castiglione also said he would not push for beer sales during the Red River Rivalry at the Cotton Bowl.

“It’s just fine the way it is,” Castiglione said.

It’s worth noting that beer and alcohol has been available at the fairgrounds outside of the Cotton Bowl, during the State Fair of Texas, for years. However, only soda and water are available inside the stadium. (Dallas Morning News)
