After the first round, the Sooners were in second place with a 5-under 275, two strokes behind Colorado, before adding a second-round 285 (+5).
Leading the Sooners is Michael Gellerman, who fired a 136 (-4) on Monday. The junior shot a bogey-free 4-under 66 in the first round before recording an even-par 70. Gellerman, who pocketed eight birdies for the day, sits in a tie for third place out of 115 individuals, three strokes off the lead.
Also within the top 20 on the leaderboard is juniorCharlie Saxon, who logged a 140 (E) for the first 36 holes. Saxon shot a first-round 69 (-1) followed by a 71 (+1) to sit in a tie for 16th place.
With scores of 71 (+1) and 72 (+2), bringing his two-round total to 143 (+3), senior Michael Schoolcraft is tied for 27th place.
Sophomore Beau Titsworth and freshman Max McGreevy share 52nd place with 7-over 147s. Titsworth shot a 5-over 75 and 2-over 72 in the first and second rounds, respectively. McGreevy, who was tied for 13th place after the first round with a 1-under 69, struggled for the second 18 holes, recording a 78 (+8).
