Former Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham is in Norman on Thursday visiting the Sooners, sources close to the football team confirmed.

During his visit, he won’t be meeting with Sooners coach Bob Stoops, who is out of town on vacation. Wide recievers coach Jay Norvell and co-offensive coordinator Josh Heupel are both in town.

Green-Beckham was kicked off the Tigers after last season when he was investigated for a burglary in which he allegedly pushed a woman down several stairs at an apartment in Columbia. Green-Beckham was not charged in the incident.

During his tenure with Missouri, though, he was twice arrested for marijuana-related incidents.

Green-Beckham was a five-star recruit and the nation’s top player in the 2012 recruiting class. The Sooners were in the hunt for Green-Beckham until very late in the process. (The Oklahoman)
