Former Sooner DeMarco Murray Sets NFL Record

With a 1-yard run in the fourth quarter, former Sooner DeMarco Murray became the first running back in NFL history to open a season with seven straight 100-yard games.

Previously, Hall of Famer Jim Brown opened the 1958 season with six straight 100-yard games for the Cleveland Browns.

Murray finished with 128 yards rushing to eclipse Brown.

Murray entered Sunday's game against the New York Giants on pace for more than 2,000 yards and 424 carries, which would be a single-season record. (More at ESPN Dallas)
