Report: Surveillance Video of Joe Mixon Altercation Will Not Be Released As Scheduled

Surveillance video showing an altercation involving freshman Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon and a female at a Norman, Oklahoma restaurant will not be released as scheduled, according to a local media report.

It's unclear when the video will be released to the public, it was scheduled to be released on November 1st by the Cleveland County District Attorney's office after multiple open records request by members of the media.

Mixon, 18, who was originally scheduled for trial on October 27th, is now expected for a jury trial mid-January of 2015.

The freshman running back is accused of punching a 20-year-old OU female student after a brief confrontation at Pickleman’s Cafe in Norman in the early morning hours of July 25th.

Mixon was charged with misdemeanor acts resulting in gross injury. The trial is expected to last 3-5 days according to attorneys.
