OU's Samaje Perine Named FWAA Freshman All-American

Running back Samaje Perine has been named to the Football Writers of America Freshman All-America Team, it was announced Wednesday.

Prior to Wednesday’s announcement, Perine earned AP All-America Third Team recognition, FWAA All-America Second Team, All-Big 12 First Team honors from both AP and the conference’s coaches. The true freshman was also voted the Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year.
