Dorial Green-Beckham to Work Out at OU Pro Day

Wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham is expected to take part in Oklahoma’s Pro Day March 11, athletic department spokesman Pete Moris confirmed to the Tulsa World Tuesday. The development was first reported by Pete Lucy of KOLR-TV in Springfield, Missouri, Green-Beckham’s home town.

Green-Beckham transferred to OU last July in the aftermath of his dismissal from the Missouri football team, the result of several behavioral incidents. He allegedly forced his way into an apartment while looking for his girlfriend and shoved an 18-year old woman down some stairs, and escaped first-degree burglary charges only after the woman declined to press charges for fear of backlash. He was also arrested in connection to two drug-related incidents while playing for Missouri.

The Sooners took Green-Beckham anyhow, and even filed an eligibility waiver appeal on his behalf with the NCAA to get him on the field last season. The NCAA denied the appeal, forcing Green-Beckham to spend the year on OU’s scout team. (More at Tulsa World)
