Former Oklahoma RB Brennan Clay Arrested in Alleged Assault

Former University of Oklahoma running back Brennan Clay was arrested in January after an incident with his wife, according to Dallas County court records.

Authorities said Clay was arrested on Jan. 27. According to court documents, officers who were called to the home found the victim crying and upset. She said Clay had kicked in the door earlier and began arguing with her.

She reported that he threw her into the kitchen counter and across the room. Police said the victim had several cuts on her right leg and was bleeding.

The victim told officers that Clay dragged her down the stars to the outside of the home and threw her into the shrubbery.According to court documents, the victim reported that Clay put his hand over her throat and mouth to keep her from breathing. (KOCO-TV)
