Eddie Foster, who was a captain on Oklahoma's undefeated Big Eight championship team in 1973, has passed away, said OU coach Barry Switzer in a tweet.

I'm saddened by the loss of Eddie Foster. Captain of @OU_Football undefeated Big 8 champions in 1973. He was a good man and leader.

Foster was drafted in 12th round by the New England Patriots in 1974. He was a three-year letterman at offensive tackle while at OU.
