Ty Darlington on OL: 'Gotta be a burning desire to block someone else, to dominate someone else'

Oklahoma senior center Ty Darlington didn't mince words when asked about the Sooners' offensive line play of late and whether the group lacks the “nastiness” it had last year.

“It's there, but it's not there consistently enough,” Darlington said.

“I don't think it's a lack of will, but there are different levels of caring,” Darlington said. “Everyone obviously cares. We put a lot of time and effort into it, but it's really gotta eat you up. It's gotta be a burning desire to block someone else, to dominate someone else and to play for the guy next to you and to protect the guys with the ball.” (The Oklahoman)
