College Football Playoff Committee Chair, Jeff Long, on Oklahoma:

Long: Oklahoma's "increasingly impressive body of work" moved it ahead of Iowa. Iowa's undefeated record kept it above Michigan State.

Long: "Oklahoma's body of work--they added to it with a top 25 team. they've done that last 2 weeks."

Long on ND: "It was more about the performances of Oklahoma & Mich. St. that propelled them ahead of Notre Dame."
