OU's Lincoln Riley Named Broyles Award Finalist

Oklahoma offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley is one of five finalists for the Broyles Award, given to the top assistant coach in college football.

The winner will be named Dec. 8 at the Marriott Hotel in Little Rock, Ark. The award is given by The Rotary Club of Little Rock and Delta Dental.

The other finalists are Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables, Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart, Baylor offensive coordinator Kendal Briles, North Carolina defensive coordinator Gene Chizik. (The Oklahoman)
