Shepard’s sensational performance against No. 6 Baylor on Saturday helped the Sooners secure a 44-34 road win to snap the Bears’ 20-game home winning streak. Shepard hauled in 14 passes, just one shy of his own school record, and piled up 177 yards to go with a pair of touchdowns.
With his production on Saturday, Shepard continues his ascension in the Oklahoma record books. He has 61 receptions for 1,009 yards and nine touchdowns so far in 2015 (all team highs and all personal career highs). He ranks third in Sooners history in receptions (208), receiving yards (3,197) and 100-yard receiving games (11), and is tied for fourth in career receiving touchdowns (24).
Shepard has topped 140 yards receiving three times this season and has also scored multiple touchdowns in three contests.
Fans may now help determine which three receivers will advance as finalists by voting as often as once daily at the Biletnikoff Award FanVote. Fan voting for the three semifinalists will be open through Nov. 22. In 2013, Biletnikoff Award winner Brandin Cooks' one-vote margin of victory was the result of his winning the FanVote tally.

The 2015 Biletnikoff Award winner will be announced live by 1991 Heisman Trophy winner and former receiver Desmond Howard on Dec. 10, 2015, on ESPN's “The Home Depot College Awards” show, which will air at 6 p.m. CT from at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta, Ga.
