Cornerback Jordan Thomas Released From Jail After Paying Fine

Oklahoma All-Big 12 cornerback Jordan Thomas has been released from Grady County jail, a Grady County law enforcement spokesperson told the World Monday, after being booked Saturday for failure to appear for a traffic violation.

According to court records, Thomas entered a guilty plea Monday for an incident dating back to July 24, when the Oklahoma Highway Patrol ticketed him for going 94 miles per hour in a 75 MPH zone. On Nov. 19, Thomas was issued a bench warrant for failure to appear for the violation. By then his fine had escalated to $321.50.
