Junior quarterback Trevor Knight has been granted a full release from the University of Oklahoma by head coach Bob Stoops, SoonerScoop.com has learned through multiple sources.According to the report, Knight appears to have interest in several schools including Kansas State, Oregon, Southern Methodist University and Georgia.
Knight, who played in six games during the 2015 regular season, is expected to graduate this semester, which will free him up to transfer to another school this spring and become immediately eligible for the 2016 season.
Sources close to Knight indicate he has spoken with several potential transfer destinations since being granted his release by the University of Oklahoma, including Kansas State University.
Stoops will not block Knight from transferring within the Big 12 Conference according to multiple sources.
