Four-star wide receiver prospect Velus Jones Jr., formerly committed to Southern Cal, announced he's now verbally pledged to Oklahoma just weeks ahead of signing day.
Jones made the announcement via Twitter.
In past two seasons, Jones caught 99 passes for 2,063 yards and 19 touchdowns at Saraland HS (Saraland, Ala.).
Jones, 6-foot, 180 pounds, had offers from Notre Dame, Penn State, Tennessee, Georgia and Michigan.
He was recruited by coaches Cale Gundy, Dennis Simmons.
