MBB: Buddy Hield Favorite to Win National Player of the Year

OU guard Buddy Hield is listed as the favorite to win the coveted Naismith Player of the Year award, according to Bovada.

Bovada's latest odds have Hield as the front-runner for college basketball’s highest individual honor at 1/1, leading LSU forward Ben Simmons, who is at 2/1.

Hield is coming off his best performance in his four-year career at Oklahoma. The senior guard scored a career-high 46 points against No. 1 Kansas in Allen Fieldhouse, making him one of four Sooners to score 45-plus points in a game in school history. (The Oklahoma Daily)
