OU Heisman Winners to Hold Fundraiser For Bethany's Hudson Haws

Former University of Oklahoma Heisman winners are coming together for an upcoming fundraiser to benefit paralyzed Bethany football player Hudson Haws.

The Heismans for Hud Dinner and Auction, presented by HudFund and Air Comfort Solutions, is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Crossings Community Church at 14600 North Portland Avenue in Oklahoma City.

Sam Bradford, Billy Sims, Steve Owens and Jason White are scheduled to attend the event, which will be emceed by Robin Marsh and Craig Humphreys.

Haws is the Bethany linebacker who broke three vertebrae during a football game in October. He remains paralyzed below the chest and is currently being treated at Craig Hospital, a world-renowned hospital in Denver specializing in spinal cord injuries.

The dinner menu will feature tailgate favorites from OKC-area restaurants. An auction including more than 50 items will be held as well.
