Three-Star Prospect Flips Commitment From Miss. State to Oklahoma

Oklahoma added another wide receiver to its 2016 recruiting class Sunday night, when three-star prospect Zach Farrar flipped from Mississippi State to become the Sooners’ third commitment of the weekend.

Farrar, from Southlake (Texas) Carroll High, committed to Mississippi State on Jan. 21, but received his OU offer a few days later. He visited Norman this weekend and according to the tweet announcing his commitment, will play both football and baseball for the Sooners.

He also held scholarship offers from Boston College, BYU, Iowa, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and Washington, among others. (The Oklahoman)
