Griffin reportedly had a bone marrow injection that is similar to platelet-rich plasma treatment to reduce pain and trigger a healing response. He initially chose to wait to undergo the procedure as it would have caused him to miss the remainder of the season while the Clippers were on a playoff run against the Portland Trail Blazers. He will not be able to participate in basketball activities for several months, according to Bolch. (SI.com)
