Urban Meyer: Crowd Noise Is A Concern Against Oklahoma

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer said he anticipated a raucous environment Saturday in Norman.

“It's a concern,” Meyer said of the noise. “Wednesday and Thursday we'll pump crowd noise in like we normally do.

“This will probably be one of the loudest stadiums in the country.”

That hasn't typically been the reputation of Gaylord Family — Oklahoma Memorial Stadium and Bob Stoops on Monday again expressed regret for his 2008 call-out of Sooners fans ahead of a home game against Texas Tech.

That worked, though, leading to a rowdy atmosphere that culminated with the playing of “Jump Around” near the end of the third quarter as the Sooners blew out the Red Raiders.
