NBA GMs Pick Former Sooner Buddy Hield To Finish Second For ROTY

The NBA's 30 general managers have made their annual predictions for the upcoming season and they have former Sooner and current New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard Buddy Hield finishing second behind Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Kris Dunn for the rookie of the year award.

Dunn received 46.7 percent of their votes, while Hield got a distant 13.3 percent and was tied for second with Philadelphia 76ers and former LSU forward Ben Simmons. (The Times-Picayune) Meanwhile, one week before the season tips off, Las Vegas odd makers have Hield as the favroite at 7/2 to win the NBA ROTY according to the online gambling site Bovada.
