RB Daniel Brooks Retires From Football Due To Concussions

Oklahoma running back Daniel Brooks has retired from football because of concussions, an OU spokesperson confirmed Friday. The story was first reported by SoonerScoop.com.

Brooks is the third OU player to retire this season because of concussions. Linebacker Tay Evans announced his retirement earlier this week, and offensive lineman Jamal Danley announced his retirement before the season. (Tulsa World)
