Stoops: Sooners Are Prepared To Handle Baylor's Running Game

The Bears lost 62-22 against TCU last week, marking their second consecutive loss.

But despite Baylor’s derailing, the Bears still prove an offensive threat with quarterback Seth Russell and running back Terence Williams. Running back Shock Linwood will miss the game with a suspension, but even without him, the Baylor running game could be tough on an OU defensive line riddled with injuries. BU ranks sixth in the country with 278.5 rushing yards per game.

“We’ve had enough guys in there that they’ve handled it well,” Bob Stoops said. “That, in any game this year, hasn’t been an issue. It’s the same running style, very similar to what Texas brought to us. They’re the same offense, obviously. We’ve got to manage it the way we’ve been managing it.” (Tulsa World)
