Philadelphia Eagles tackle Lane Johnson will miss the remainder of the preseason, the team announced.

Johnson, a two-time Pro Bowler, is listed as week-to-week on the team's injury report after suffering  a minor knee injury. Johnson is expected to be available for the season opener against Washington Redskins on September 8.

Johnson was at Eagles practice wearing a brace on his knee after missing the preseason opener against Tennessee Titans.

Last season, Johnson established himself among thetop right tackles in the league. Johnson is ranked as 9th best offensive tackle, according to Pro Football Focus grading. An All-American while at Oklahoma, Johnson is ranked in top-5 in category of run blocking by tackles, according PFF metrics.

In 2016, Johnson signed a 5-year, $56M contract, restructuring his previous contract that will keep him in Philadelphia through 2021.
