Cale Gundy to Mayfield Hater: Never Heard of Him In 47 Years

The NFL offseason has officially arrived with players and notable commentators, analysts began their vacations after months season.

It allowed NFL Network analyst Akbar Gbaja-Biamila, an opportunity to channel his inner Skip Bayless on NFL Network, to target Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Gbaja-Biamila suggested the franchise should find another player-caller, saying “Baker Mayfield is a bum, as far as I’m concerned, and if anybody’s got a problem with it, they can call me,” on Wednesday's edition of “Total Access” on NFL Network.

In 2019, Mayfield in his second year undoubtedly struggled under first-year head coach Freddie Kitchens, his numbers across the board were negative from his rookie campaign, completion only  59.4% passes, throwing 22 touchdowns and 21 interceptions.

Cale Gundy, Mayfield's former co-offensive coordinator, came to the quarterback’s defense on social media.
