WR CeeDee Lamb is onboard to reunite with QB Kyler Murray.

Lamb took questions part of media availability at NFL Scouting Combine, asked of impressions of the  Cardinals staff, adding it would be an ‘honor' to have Murray as a teammate.

“I like the coaching staff. I met with the general manager. (We were) kind of vibin’ a little bit. All great energy, ” Lamb said Tuesday.

When asked about becoming teammates with Murray, “That’s my guy, man. That would be a huge honor on my end,” Lamb added.

Murray, a former teammate of Lamb, has lobbied Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury and GM Steve Keim for the QB, WR tandem to reunite.

“ [If] we pick CeeDee, that would be great. We have a very comfortable relationship. I've played with him, I've been with him for years, so yeah, I don't think that would be a bad pick at all, ” Murray told Arizona Republic's Bob McManaman, via AZCentral.com.

Kingsbury said Tuesday, Murray has been a vocal supporter of the organization selecting Lamb at the eighth overall selection in April's NFL Draft.

"He's his biggest proponent, that's for sure. He would take him No. 1, hands down, ” Kingsbury said, at the media availability.

Before the arrival of Murray and Kingsbury, last offseason, Arizona's offense sputtered, at best.

In 2018, the offense was the league’s worst. Kingsbury, Murray through the Air Raid quickly turned the unit around, ranking 16th last season.

Kingsbury is hopeful in adding an outside playmaker, that’ll stretch the field will propel the Cardinals into the playoffs.

They will have a number of options at wide receiver outside Lamb, including Alabama WRs Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs.

"I'm always looking for a fast outside guy. We're going to do what's best for our organization, but those three guys are definitely in play,” Kingsbury said.

Lamb when asked if he'll participate in all the drills and workouts at combine, including running the 40, Lamb replied: “if I could run it today I would.”

Wideouts will participate in on-field workouts on Thursday.
