The agent of Trent Williams, Vince Taylor, spoke publicly on 106.7 The Fan “Grant & Danny” (Washington D.C) addressing published reports of talks breaking down between his client and Washington Redskins after asking $20M annually.
Taylor rejected the idea and solely placed the blame on the organization, calling the report “totally false” and “the contract has never been the hold up, ” Taylor asserted, on 106.7 The Fan, via Yahoo! Sports.
He went further added, teams around the league have reached out about owner Daniel Synder's front office, saying via Washington Post, “doesn’t know what its doing."
Williams, 31, is entering the final season of five-year, $68M contact, has been in a well-publicized dispute with the organization’s management, sitting last season after his growing distrust over the team's medical misdiagnosis.

However, discussion of Williams returning to the team were suddenly thwarted after reports of him requesting ‘quarterback money' while negotiating an extension with the organization.
Taylor dismissed the idea Riveria, hired after the dismissal of head coach Jay Gruden in October, had any interest repairing the relationship, saying his client ‘realized there is no relationship,’ after the brief meeting with Riveria following the league's competition meeting.
Furthermore, Taylor added, “Ron, in essence, wanted him to prove himself. ‘Prove yourself.’ And then the nostalgia of everything that has happened [in Williams’s Redskins tenure], he realized that there’s no relationship here. It’s better for us to part ways, ” he said, via The Post.
Last week, he demanded the organization to trade or release Williams stating they didn’t act in ‘good faith' when trying to find a trading partner.
Williams is due $14.5M this season.
