Bob Stoops offered no update Monday on the status of true freshman DE Amani Bledsoe, who is indefinitely suspended for a violation of team rules. The Sooners announced Bledsoe’s suspension shortly before the Kansas game on Oct. 31.
According to the Lawrence Journal-World, however, Bledsoe received a one-year suspension for a violation of performance enhancing drug policy. OU is in the process of appealing the suspension, according to the report.
Stoops declined to confirm the report during last week’s press conference, however. (Dallas Morning News)
