D.C. kid who became the Jaguars' first-round bookend

Anton Harrison grew up in Washington, D.C., and played football and basketball at Archbishop Carroll High School. He was selected to the 2019 Under Armour All-American Game.

Harrison played offensive tackle for Oklahoma from 2020 to 2022. He earned second-team All-Big 12 honors in 2021 and first-team All-Big 12 honors in 2022, establishing himself as one of the top tackles in the country.

The Jacksonville Jaguars selected Harrison in the first round (27th overall) of the 2023 NFL draft, and he has been a fixture for them ever since, starting all 17 games as a rookie in 2023, 16 in 2024 and 15 in 2025. On April 20, 2026, the Jaguars exercised the fifth-year option on his contract, a clear sign of how much the franchise values him.

As of October 8, 2026, Harrison is an active offensive tackle for Jacksonville and one of the most dependable young linemen in the Sooners' NFL pipeline.
