Anton Harrison

2023 · Round 1 · Pick 27 · OT · Jacksonville Jaguars

Anton Harrison was born on February 2, 2002, in Washington, D.C., and grew up in the Brookland neighborhood. His father, Andre, was an assistant coach at Archbishop Carroll High School, where Anton played football and basketball. He started playing organized football in eighth grade as a tight end before moving to the offensive line, and he played in the 2019 Under Armour All-America Game. At Oklahoma (2020–2022) he played 34 games with 24 starts, mostly at left tackle. He was second-team All-Big 12 in 2021 and first-team in 2022, when he started all 13 games. Jacksonville drafted him in the first round, 27th overall, in 2023 and moved him to right tackle. He started all 17 games as a rookie protecting Trevor Lawrence, 16 in 2024, and 9 in 2025 through early November, per Grokipedia. Grokipedia also cites Pro Football Focus grades of 64.2 in 2024 and 71.2 in 2025. The Oklahoman (Web Edition) wrote on March 31, 2023: "Harrison, whose father played football at Ole Miss, developed into a four-star prospect in Washington, D.C., and chose the Sooners over a group of offers that included Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State among others."
