Ben Powers

2019 · Round 4 · Pick 123 · OL · Baltimore Ravens

Ben Powers is from Wichita, Kansas, and lettered in football and wrestling at Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School. He finished second at the state wrestling finals. Major colleges didn't offer him a scholarship, so he went to Butler Community College for a year before enrolling at Oklahoma. In 2018 he was a consensus first-team All-American and first-team All-Big 12. Baltimore drafted him in the fourth round, 123rd overall, in 2019, and he worked his way to full-time starter by 2022. In March 2023 he signed a four-year, $51.5 million contract with Denver. A biceps injury sent him to injured reserve in 2025, and he later played through a Lisfranc injury. He is active with the Broncos, with 76 starts in 89 games. Tidbit: Baltimore fan Mo Gaba announced the Ravens' pick of Powers on a draft card written in Braille. The Oklahoman wrote on December 24, 2018: "Powers didn't have a Division I offer coming out of high school, but decided to aim higher than the Division II programs that were willing to give him a shot."
