Deion Burks

2026 · Round 7 · Pick 254 · WR · Indianapolis Colts

Deion Burks went to Belleville High School in Michigan and started his college career at Purdue. After a catchless 2021, he had 15 catches for 149 yards in 2022, then led the Boilermakers in 2023 with 47 receptions, 629 yards and seven touchdowns. That earned him second-team All-Big Ten honors. He transferred to Oklahoma after the 2023 season. Indianapolis drafted him in the seventh round, 254th overall, in 2026, and he signed his rookie contract on May 8. He is active with the Colts. Note: his Wikipedia article gives no details on his two seasons at Oklahoma, so this bio is short. Pro Football Reference has a player page for him (linked below), but its stats weren't pulled for this bio. The Oklahoma Daily wrote on September 7, 2025: "Deion Burks grew up in Michigan dreaming of wearing maize and blue, but on Saturday night, he wore crimson and cream — and helped send the Wolverines home with a loss." The Oklahoman wrote on September 3, 2025: "Burks grew up in Michigan, between Detroit and Ann Arbor." The Oklahoman wrote on September 3, 2025: "Burks, who is from nearby Inkster, starred at Belleville High School."
