Isaiah Thomas

2022 · Round 7 · Pick 223 · EDGE · Cleveland Browns

Isaiah Thomas was born in Tulsa and played at Tulsa Memorial High School. At Oklahoma he was a second-team All-Big 12 defensive end in both 2020 and 2021. Cleveland drafted him in the seventh round, 223rd overall, in 2022, and he made his debut in Week 4 that season. In Week 7 at Baltimore he recovered a Justice Hill fumble, and in Week 8 he recorded his first career sack, a 10-yard third-down takedown of Cincinnati's Joe Burrow. After stints on the Browns' practice squad, he moved between Cincinnati and Detroit in 2024. The Bengals released him from their practice squad on September 9, 2025, and his infobox lists no current team. His career totals are 12 tackles, 1.0 sack and two fumble recoveries. Note: his Wikipedia article has few details on his OU career, so this bio is short. Pro Football Reference has a player page for him (linked below), but its stats weren't pulled for this bio. Sand Springs Leader wrote on March 14, 2022: "University of Oklahoma defensive lineman Isaiah Thomas, a 2017 graduate of Tulsa Memorial High School, is on the precipice of what he hopes will be a magical ride into the NFL."
