Perrion Winfrey
2022 · Round 4 · Pick 108 · DT · Cleveland Browns
Perrion Winfrey is from Maywood, Illinois, and played at Lake Park High School in Roselle. He didn't qualify academically for Division I, so he went to Iowa Western Community College, where he recorded 23 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks and became 247Sports' No. 1 junior-college prospect. He chose Oklahoma over Alabama, LSU and Texas and was second-team All-Big 12 in both 2020 and 2021. Cleveland drafted him in the fourth round, 108th overall, in 2022, and he played 13 games as a rookie. The Browns waived him in July 2023 after he was investigated over an alleged incident in which he threatened a woman with a gun. Since then he has played for the New York Jets, the UFL's Birmingham Stallions (All-UFL in 2025), the Dallas Cowboys and the UFL's Columbus Aviators. He was the only 2025 UFL player to make an NFL opening-day roster that same year. The Oklahoman (Web Edition) wrote on April 28, 2022: "Winfrey, a native of Maywood, Ill., was a consistent starter on the Sooners' defensive line the past two seasons."
